- The New York Air National Guard intends to award a firm-fixed price sole source award to MetaVR, Inc. for terrain generating software to be used in conjunction with flight training software. Please see the attached Sole Source Justification & Approval. The proposed contract action, a commercial item, is for procurement of Qty. 1 Virtual Reality Scene Generator (VRSG) terrain generation software by MetaVR, Inc. The Virtual Reality Scene Generator software is proprietary to MetaVR & there are no authorized resellers. This notice is for informational purposes only; no formal solicitation will be issued as a result of this announcement. This is not a request for quote. This is a special notice prepared in accordance with the format found in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302- 1(a)(2)(ii), Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The intent of this pre-award notice is to provide publicization in accordance with FAR 6.305(d). This notification is provided for informational purposes only.
