- This notice constitutes a Request for Information for market research purposes only. This is not a solicitation and in no way binds the Government to any contractual obligations as a result of any responses to this request, nor does it restrict the Government's acquisition approach. Responses to this Request for Information will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. DLA Maritime Norfolk, Norfolk Naval Contracting Division is conducting market research for potential sources for Perma Plug Kits, National Stock Number 4730-01-561-3781, to be installed on a Naval carrier by the Norfolk Naval Shipyard. The required 350 plug kits must meet the following specifications: Use - condenser tube plugging 1 kit = 10 plugs 0.524" 70/30 CU/NI Size range 0.525 - 0. 585" (13.34 - 14.66MM) Vendor must have and maintain an inspection system acceptable to the Government. Material shall be in accordance with Naval Inventory Control Point (NAVICP) Activity HX Quality control, manufacturing, and testing specifications. Known manufacturer: Expansion Seal Technologies, CAGE 6T816, part number V-524-H Interested vendors with the proper qualifications may respond to Bonnie Parker at bonnie.parker@dla.mil. Please ensure the subject line on any email states "Sources Sought - Perma Plug Kits" or "Sources Sought N42158-5254-B106." Emails without subject indicators will not be read because of security issues. At a minimum, vendors shall provide the following information: Company name and address, CAGE code, business size for NAICS code 332919 (Other Metal Valve and Pipe Fitting Manufacturing), and point of contact including telephone number and email address.
