- The Army Support Activity intends to issue a sole source award to SAAB Training USA LLC for the purchase replacement target system parts for the already existing Military Police Qualification Course at Camp Bullis. The replacement parts consist of: ITEM PART # DESCRIPTION MFR QTY 0001 6853 503-591 Radio Modem 3 as VHF Saab Defense & Security 3 0002 8836 023-151 Hit Sensor with Cable Saab Defense & Security 4 0003 8836 034-103 Main Board BT18SIT Saab Defense & Security 4 0004 8836 035-301 Radio Adapter Board Saab Defense & Security 4 0005 8836 039-501 Battery Cable Sit Saab Defense & Security 3 0006 6853 503-588 Motor 12VDC 144W 40RPM Saab Defense & Security 2 0007 8836 090-101 Window Modification Kit Saab Defense & Security 4 The anticipated period of performance for the service will be 24 weeks ARO. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation is available. The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12 and intends to procure from only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-(b)(1), that the circumstances of this contract action deem only a single source is reasonably available to fulfill the stated requirement. Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the requirement in writing to robert.c.gallegos.civ@mail.mil no later than 1:30pm CST, Wednesday, 23 September 2015. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. Oral communications will not be accepted in response to this notice. No request for proposals or quotes will be issued based upon this Notice of Intent.
