Description

The Department of Education, Federal Student Aid (the Department), intends to award a sole source, under the authority of 41 U.S.C. 253(c)(1) and FAR 6.302-1(a)(2) --Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements, to Adaptive Cyber, LLC, 1100 N Glebe Road STE 1010, Arlington, VA 22201-5786 to provide RSA Archer Platform licenses and software maintenance. The sole source will be awarded via modification to FSA's current purchase order, ED-FSA-14-P-0059, with Adaptive Cyber, LLC with is a 1 year Firm-Fixed-Price contract with 2 option years awarded in 2014. This Notice of Intent to award a sole source is not a request for competitive quotes. There is no solicitation document. No RFQ will be available for competitive proposals. Phone calls will not be accepted. The point of contact for this action is Mr. Reginald Mitchell, Contract Specialist, Reginald.mitchell@ed.gov. Interested parties may express their interest and provide a capability statement to Mr. Reginald Mitchell via e-mail no later than September 23, 2015; 3:00PM EST. A determination not to compete this proposed contract action upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
