- Description
- The Regional Contracting Office (RCO) - Bogota has a requirement for Driver & Dispatch Contract (DDC) services for the Security Cooperation Office - Colombia (SCO-CO). The requirement is for the contractor to supply all resources necessary to accomplish the required services for the SCO-CO and its supported agencies throughout the country of Colombia. The start date is 01 March 2016 for six months and two (2) three-month option periods after the base period performance. Award will be conducted under the provisions of FAR Part 12 Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 13.5 Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Items. This is an unrestricted procurement action. The prospective contractor must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) in order to be considered for award. Prospective contractors should be registered with the Govt of Colombia (GOC), permitted to operate within the country and must abide by GOC labor laws. The solicitation will be posted on FedBizOpps.gov and the U.S. Embassy-Bogota contracting website on or about 26 October 2015. It is the responsibility of the prospective offeror to monitor the website for the release of amendments (if any) or other information pertaining to the solicitation.
