- Description
- The Department of Energy, Western Area Power Administration has a requirement for a contractor to provide heavy duty transmission line steel pole structures. The steel pole structures shall be delivered to various Western sites located throughout the following states: Arizona, California, Colorado, Iowa, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, New Mexico, North Dakota, South Dakota, Utah and Wyoming. Delivery points of the steel poles will vary from surface storage areas adjacent to all-weather roads to off-road deliverables to individual structure sites. Procurement of the steel pole structures will be made by award of individual delivery orders against the master contract. Attached is a DRAFT Statement of Work for this requirement. The contract type for this procurement is an Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity. The ceiling of the contract is estimated at $50 million. The minimum guarantee will be $50,000.00. The period of performance will be for one year with four, one-year options. The contract will contain an economic price adjustment clause requiring the evaluation of market conditions, and possible price adjustments, on an annual basis.
