- The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office, Grand Prairie, Texas intends to issue solicitation RFQP05151500016 for the provision of Unarmed Guard Services to be performed for the Federal Correctional Institution (FCI) located at Texarkana, TX. The services will be provided at a hospital/medical facility in the geographic vicinity of the FCI. It is anticipated that the contract will require an estimated 5,000 sessions (a session being one hour in duration) to be performed during each 12 month contract period depending upon the needs of the facility. The contractor must be available to provide services at any time of day or night. The contract period shall consist of a 12 month base year and 4 twelve month option periods for renewal. The applicable North American Industrial Classification (NAICS) code is 561612, with a small business size standard of $20.5 million. The solicitation is 100% set-aside for small business. All responsible small business concerns may submit a quote which will be considered. Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations may submit offers/bids/quotations equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. The solicitation will be available on or about October 6, 2015 and will be distributed solely through the website at www.fbo.gov. All future information concerning this acquisition, including solicitation amendments will be distributed through the website. The anticipated deadline for receipt of quotations is November 6, 2015.
