- Drawing - SLS-370-170 Ekki Timber Fenders. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes (offers) are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number DTSL5515Q0177 is issued as a request for quotation. This document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-84. The applicable NAICS code is 321113 and the size standard is 500 employees. Item No. Description Quantity 1 Timber, Ekki, 14 inch x 10.25 inch x 10 feet long with exposed heart, beveled. Any protrusion of heart centers/heartwood allowed on unbeveled 10.25 inch side only. 130 each 2 Timber, Ekki, 14 inch x 13.25 inch x 10 feet long with exposed heart, beveled. Any protrusion of heart centers/heartwood allowed on unbeveled 13.25 inch side only. 50 each Optional Quantities (Items No. 3 through 4) 3 Timber, Ekki, 14 inch x 10.25 inch x 10 feet long with exposed heart, beveled. Any protrusion of heart center/heartwood allowed on unbeveled 10.25 inch side only. 30 each 4 Timber, Ekki, 14 inch x 13.25 inch x 10 feet long with exposed heart, beveled. Any protrusion of heart center/heartwood allowed on unbeveled 13.25 inch side only. 15 each All timbers shall be free from sapwood, rot, wane, cracks other than normal checking and any other such defects. All timbers shall be furnished with hearts exposed and beveled in accordance with the attached Drawing No. SLS-370-170. Delivery terms are FOB Destination to the Saint Lawrence Seaway Development Corporation Attn: Receiving Warehouse, 251 Fregoe Road, Massena, NY 13662 by May 1, 2016. Enclosed container deliveries will not be accepted. If cost savings can be achieved by accepting partial shipments prior to May 1, 2016, the offeror shall include these savings in his/her quote with anticipated delivery dates. Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) provision 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items applies to this acquisition. Award will be made to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Corporation considering price and past performance. Offerors shall submit past performance information on three (3) similar projects to include company name, point of contact, telephone number or email address. Offerors are required to include a completed copy of FAR provision 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items, with its offer if they have not completed their certifications and representations on the System for Award Management (SAM) website at www.sam.gov. FAR clause, 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items is applicable to this acquisition.
