Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. SOLICITATION #: F1ECES52220200 - Bed Rock Shelter Parts This combined synopsis/solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotes. A Firm Fixed Price type contract will be awarded. The solicitation and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-61, Effective 13 Sep 2012. This combined synopsis/solicitation is being issued under: NAICS: 314910 - Tents made from Purchased Fabric NO SET-ASIDE IS USED FOR THIS REQUIREMENT. CLIN 0001: 25(ea) - Approx 18 foot to 21 foot wide insulated end panel with an approx. 28"x85" hard panel personnel door with a knob. There shall be two windows with sewn in net style screens. These windows should have an exterior flap that covers the window to keep out debris. There Must be at least two holes or more for a supply return air from an environmental control unit. CLIN 0002: 25(ea) - Approx. 18 to 21 foot wide insulated end panel with soft zipper style door approx. 42 inches wide by 86 inches tall. It shall have two windows with a netted screen sewn in. These windows should have an exterior flap that covers the window to keep out debris. There must be at least two holes or more for supply and return air from an environmental control unit. CLIN 0003: 25(ea) - Interior insulated liner set. This set shall cover all interior surfaces except the floor. If the end panels are insulated then they can be left without this liner. The fabric should be made at a minimum from 7 oz. to 9 oz. mil-spec fabric. It shall have a fire rating. CLIN 0004: 30(ea) - The Plenum kit shall fit and secure to end wall opening for supply air. It shall run at least 25 linear feet of the shelter. It shall have a systems so it can be secured to the aluminum tube structure above. It shall have factory placed holes throughout its length to distribute air from the environmental control unit. CLIN 0005: 100(ea) - Locking door knob for tent structure. Shall fit door handle opening and have a backset that fits the hard door that is included in this order. CLIN 0006: 200(ea) - Guy rope with snap and tent slip. Shall be made of a durable nylon material. CLIN 0007: 16 (ea) - Wood Crates for Shipping. CLIN 0008: 1 (ea) - Shipping to Ali Al Salem AB, Kuwait Delivery Schedule: Provide best possible delivery date, 30 ADC, with quote. Contractor is responsible for delivery. Delivery Location: Ali Al Salem AB, Kuwait CLAUSES: FAR 52.212-1 - Instructions to Offerors applies to this acquisition Provision Addenda: All quotes shall include the following minimum information: Cage Code, Duns Number, Taxpayer I.D. No., Payment Terms, and/or Discount Terms, Offerors Reps and Certs, Point of Contact, Phone, Fax, Email and Proposed Delivery Schedule. System for Award Management. Unless exempted by an addendum to this solicitation, by submission of an offer, the offeror acknowledges the requirement that a prospective awardee shall be registered in the SAM database prior to award, during performance and through final payment of any contract resulting from this solicitation. If the Offeror does not become registered in the SAM database in the time prescribed by the Contracting Officer, the Contracting Officer will proceed to award to the next otherwise successful registered Offeror. Offerors may obtain information on registration and annual confirmation requirements via the SAM database accessed through https://www.acquisition.gov. FAR 52.212-2 - Evaluation - Commercial Items: The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer is the lowest price, technically acceptable. This is an "all or none" requirement and will be awarded on one contract. Multiple contracts will not be issued. Vendors who do not quote the entire package requested will be considered non-responsive and their quotes will not be evaluated.FAR 52.212-4 - Terms and Condition - Commercial applies to this acquisition FAR 52.212-5 - Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders - Commercial Items (NOV 2011) (DEVIATION): Applies to this acquisition. (a)The Contractor agrees to comply with the following Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) clause which, if checked, is included in this contract by reference to implement a provision of law applicable to acquisitions of commercial items or components. The following additional provisions or clauses are specific to this particular requirement: The Government intends to make one (1) firm-fixed-price award. The Government intends to place an order with the offeror whose offer conforms to this request and is the lowest price technically acceptable to meet the Government's needs.
