- Description
- The U.S. Coast Guard, Surface Forces Logistics Center, Engineering Services Division, In-Service Vessel Sustainment Program, is seeking qualified sources for an estimated ten (10) ship sets of Pedestal Mounted, Telescoping Boom Cranes, with a Programmable Logic Controller-based Integrated Crane Control System (ICCS) for the 225' WLB Class Buoy Tenders under the Mid-life Maintenance Availability (MMA) Program. The US Coast Guard is seeking sources to fabricate a replacement hydraulically-operated extending boom crane with a lifting capacity of 40,000 pounds on the main hook and 10,000 pounds on the auxiliary hook, and a PLC-based control system for the crane and associated deck equipment. The crane shall be designed to integrate with the existing pedestal and ship's hydraulics. The procurement includes the crane and ICCS, fabrication and testing, technical documentation, provisioning data, spare parts, and technical representative support services. Delivery shall be FOB destination to U.S. Coast Guard Warehouse, Building 88, 2401 Hawkins Point Road, Baltimore, MD 21226. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 333923, Overhead Traveling Crane, Hoist, and Monorail System Manufacturing. This procurement will be solicited on an unrestricted basis. Solicitation HSCG40-16-R-60021 will be available for download from FedBizOps on or about December 22, 2015.
