- This SOURCES SOUGHT is being re-conducted to determine the interest and capability of local firms in Bulgaria and Macedonia in support of an indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (IDIQ) Multiple-Award Task Order Contract (MATOC). The work will be performed outside of the Continental U.S., therefore FAR Part 19 does not apply The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Europe District intends to award an indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (IDIQ) Multiple-Award Task Order Contract (MATOC). Services for this contract will include real property repair and maintenance, environmental work, force protection work, and construction services. Task Orders will primarily address new construction, design-build, general building renovation, road and pavement repair, and general environmental work including, but not limited to, incidental minor construction, excavation, plumbing, demolition, electrical, structural, mechanical, concrete work, and environmental remedial work. Project work may also include Force Protection type projects and Design Build projects for various construction and utility infrastructure type projects. The MATOC work will be geographically located primarily throughout Bulgaria and Macedonia. Responses are desired from firms who can demonstrate recent experience and excellent past performance in design/construction of similar facilities, but expressions of interests will be accepted from all interested parties. Contractors participating in this solicitation must be licensed and approved firms or joint ventures legally permitted to work in Bulgaria and Macedonia. The desired pool of successful contractors for the award will be companies proving previous successful experience in Bulgaria and Macedonia. Solicitation will be issued on or about 29 September, 2015. Prime construction firms are required to provide their primary point of contact, email address, physical address, telephone number, and a brief (no longer than one page) company capability statement no later than 2:00 PM Central European Time, 25 September 2015. Note that DFARS Clause 252.222-7002 Compliance with Local Labor Laws (Overseas) applies to this project.
