- Description
- The Army Contracting Command, Redstone Arsenal, AL intends to award, on other than full and open competition a new follow-on 60 month engine support services contract for the General Electric Company, GE - Aviation (GE-A) T700 series engine. It is anticipated that an Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract will allow for the issuance of task orders on a Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP), Cost-Plus- Fixed-Fee (CPFF) or Cost-Plus-Award-Fee (CPAF) basis. The contractor will provide engine support services for all versions of the T700 series engine in the functional areas of program management, engineering, product assurance, test, configuration management, and logistics. These services are military unique in support of military T700 engine program. Engineering expertise is to be supplied by GE - Aviation, 1000 Western Avenue, Lynn, MA 01910, large business, CAGE Code: 99207. The contractor will be required to provide support for the various T700 engine configurations in the areas of product improvements, integration and qualification of components and sub-systems, productivity, product assurance, testing, configuration management, supply, maintenance, preparation of Engineering Change Proposals, and logistics. Anticipated under this contract are major efforts that will require extensive design knowledge, facilities, tooling, manufacturing resources and a complete technical data package (TDP) to include associated processes, practices, and procedures.
