- The Contractor is responsible for all packaging, shipping and handling of the equipment to be repaired. Equipment shall be packaged and shipped to avoid the deleterious effects of shock, vibration, physical damage, water vapor, salt spray, condensation and weathering during shipping, handling and storage. Vertically mounted pump must be transported in the vertical position only The scope consists of procuring the material and services of an experienced specialty shop to make necessary repairs to the pump and conduct performance tests after the repairs for conformance to manufacturer recommendations.
