Description: Statement of Requirements 252.209-7992 Tax Liability COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION FA9300-15-M-5015 AFTC/PZRA at Edwards AFB, CA is contemplating an award for the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL), The requirement is for an automated abrasive cut-off machine capable of sectioning 5.75 inch diameter cylinders, 30 inches long, and 8 inch by 8 inch square panels, that are comprised of carbon fiber reinforced organic matrix composite. The cut-off machine must have an automated x-axis table feed, automated y-axis table or cutting wheel feed, manual joystick control of table, laser alignment of cutting wheel onto part, clamps required to fixate 5.75 inch diameter cylinders to table during cutting operations, clamps required to fixate 8 inch by 8 inch square panels to table during cutting operations, cooling capability for part and cutting wheel with recirculating pump, one 20 inch diameter cut-off wheel for non-ferrous materials/composites and one 20 inch diameter cut-off wheel for ferrous metals. Please see attached Statement of Requirements (SOR) for full details. This purchase is subject to the availability of funds. (i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared IAW the format in FAR 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation for this requirement. Quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) The solicitation number is FA9301-15-M-5015. This is a request for quotation (RFQ). (iii) The solicitation document, incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-83 and DFARs Change Notice (DPN) 20150826. (iv) The Federal Supply Code (FSC) code is 3433. NAICS is 333517 and the size standard is 500 employees. This acquisition is full and open, no set-aside.
