Description
Atch 5: Government Furnished Property Roster Atch 1: Revised Performance Work Statement FA2521-15-B-0012-0002 Amendment 1: Administrative correction to header of Attachment 4, Question and Answer Template Amendment 2: The purpose of this amendment is to: A) Incorporate revised Attachment 1, Performance Work Statement dated 14 Sept 15 B) Incorporate Attachment 5, Government Furnished Property Roster dated 14 Sept 15 C) All other terms and conditions remain unchanged. The 45th Contracting Squadron, Patrick AFB, FL announces the release of Invitation for Bid (IFB) No. FA2521-15-B-0012 to provide the following services: fire extinguisher inspection, testing and maintenance; and wet and dry chemical fire suppression systems inspection, testing, and maintenance at Patrick AFB. The period of performance for this requirement is one base year and four one-year options, each option year will include a 12 month ordering period. This requirement will be an Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Firm Fixed Price contract with a guaranteed minimum of $25,000 and a maximum contract value of $400,000. The contractor shall inspect and service all wheeled fire extinguishers and all handheld portable fire extinguishers installed in PAFB real property facilities, fire extinguishers mounted in fire department emergency vehicles, security forces vehicles, and response vehicles belonging to the explosive ordinance disposal flight, the readiness flight, and the liquid fuels refueling vehicles. Every 6-yrs all fire extinguishers covered by this contract shall be subjected to a comprehensive 6-year maintenance inspection; every 12-years all fire extinguishers covered under this contract shall be subjected to a 12-year hydrostatic test, those services shall be provided more often if indicated by either National Fire Protection Association 10, Air Force Occupational Safety and Health Standard 91-203 Chapter 6, or the manufacturer's instructions. Fire extinguisher recharges shall be performed on an as needed/required basis, e.g. if an extinguisher is discharged, or leaks down it shall be re-charged/re-serviced upon discovery. Locations of fire extinguishers include PAFB, the Jonathan Dickenson Missile Tracking Annex, the Malabar Site, the microwave repeating stations at Wabasso, Stuart and Ft. Pierce, and Doppler Weather Radar Site off of SR-520. **Please note funds are not presently available. No award will be made until funds become available.
