- This modification to the Sources Sought notification changes the due date to 2 October 2015. This is a SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE (not a pre-solicitation notice pursuant to FAR Part 5) to determine the capability and availability of sources with Elevator and Escalator Repair and Maintenance Services experience. The New London Submarine Base in Groton Connecticut is seeking qualified companies to provide Elevator and Escalator Repair and Maintenance Services at the New London Naval Submarine Base, Groton CT. The work includes, but is not limited to, providing all labor, supervision, management, tools, materials, equipment, facilities, transportation, incidental engineering and other items necessary to provide the services as described in the Performance Work Statement of the RFP. The work will be accomplished under a combination Firm Fixed Price (FFP) and Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Contract. To maintain the system in good working order, trained and certified technicians will perform all preventative maintenance tasks in accordance with the guidelines issued by the equipment and software manufacture. Sources sought include small business, veteran-owned small business, service-disabled small business, HUBZone small business, small disadvantaged business and women-owned small business concerns. The NAICS code is 238290 (Other Building Equipment Contractors Contractors). The Small Business Size Standard is 15.0 million.
