- THIS FILE CONTAINS THE SOLICITATION DOCUMENT This is a combined Synopsis/Solicitation Notice for commercial items issued pursuant to FAR Subpart 12. Under this notice, the United States Army Corps of Engineers (Chicago District), Contracting Branch is issuing a Request for Proposal (Solicitation) to satisfy its requirements described herein. By way of the Solicitation (Request for Proposal), the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) - Chicago District is soliciting its requirements to acquire ONE 1.5 MW AND ONE 350 KW TWELVE (12) PULSE AC/DC RECTIFIER UNIT. Accordingly, eligible small business concerns are invited to offer prices based upon the line items and quantities provided in the Bid Schedule (SEE Section B of the Solicitation). COMPETITION: This acquisition is restricted to Small Business Concerns. The applicable NAICS code is 334419 with a Small Business size standard of 750 employees. SUBMITTAL INSTRUCTIONS and DUE DATE: a. Required Submittals In Response To This Solicitation: (1) Signed proposal (Page 1 of the Solicitation, Blocks 30a., 30b., and 30c.) or an electronically signed transmittal letter. (2) A fully completed Bid Schedule (Section B of the Solicitation Document) with a price provided for each line item (0001 through 0002), with no exception. (3) Fully completed "Representations and Certifications"(Section K of the Solicitation Document). b. When and Where to Submit: The Contractor shall submit its Proposed Price and required submittals to Major Christine Warren at email christine.warren@usace.usace.army.mil no later than 4pm (CST) on SEPTEMBER 28, 2015. c. SUBJECT LINE OF EMAIL RESPONSES: PLEASE CLEARLY INDICATE THE FOLLOWING: "SOLICITATION NUMBER W912P6-15-R-0018, RECTIFIERS FOR FISH BARRIERS" SPECIAL NOTE: Electronic Files: Any electronic files (EMAIL) of the quotes CANNOT EXCEED this Agency's size limit of 20MB (includes email and its attachment); files exceeding this size will be denied access to the aforementioned email inboxes. ANY AMENDMENTS TO THIS SOLICITATION WILL BE PROCESSED IN THE SAME MANNER AS THIS SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION. IN THE CASE OF A DISCREPANCY BETWEEN THE DATES PUBLISHED IN THIS NOTICE AND THOSE CALLED OUT IN THE RFP DOCUMENT, THE DATES IN THE RFP DOCUMENT OVERRIDES THOSE PUBLISHED HEREIN THIS NOTICE; THIS IS RELATIVE TO THE RFP ISSUANCE DATE AND THE DUE DATE FOR PROPOSALS.
