Description

Pavements Report Geotechnical Report Cross Sections Plan Sheets Invitation for Bid THIS PROJECT IS ADVERTISED ON A FULL AND OPEN BASIS. AN ORGANIZED SITE VISIT IS SCHEDULED ON OCTOBER 6, 2015. MEET AT LARGE PULLOUT AT MP 1.3 (STA 480+00 ON PLANS) AT 9:00 AM. PROJECT DETAILS This is a 4R (reconstruction) project in Boulder County Colorado. Foothills Highway (US 36) and Lefthand Canyon Drive, and proceeds west for 10.3 miles towards Ward, CO. The project has a base schedule and three options. Schedule A = 2.94 Miles Option X = 1.40 Miles Option Y = 1.97 Miles Option Z = 4.13 Miles The contractor should have experience in the following areas: • Rock excavation • Riprap armament placement • Bridge construction • Asphalt paving Significant quantities include approximately 150,000 CUYD of excavation; 40,000 CUYD of embankment; 40,000 CUYD of riprap installation; 95,000 SQYD; 45,000 TONS of Roadway Aggregate; 35,000 TONS of Hot Asphalt Concrete Paving; 3,000 LNFT of culvert installation; 150 LNFT of Concrete Box Culvert installation; and 4 Concrete Abutment Bridge Structures. The contracting range for this project is between $20 million and $25 million.
