- Statement of Work This is a notice of intent to award a sole source contract pursuant to Federal Acquisition Regulation FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i). The ACC-APG Tenant Contracting Division, Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price sole source contract to Cannon Instrument Company of 2139 High Tech Road, State College, PA 16803. The contractor shall perform at least one preventive maintenance visit, to include system turning and alignment, per contract year for each instrument covered. Calibration certificates demonstrating traceability to NIST standards should be provided for any calibration performed. Only new Original Equipment Manufacturer parts shall be used for repairs. Cannon holds patented drawings to this equipment and when calibrating the equipment will provide upgraded firmware for all covered systems. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this requirement is 811219 and size standards is $20.500,000.00. Posting date of this requirement is 22 September 2015. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement no later than 12:00 PM Eastern Daylight Time, 28 September 2015. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition will be advantageous to the Government in future procurements. This is not a Request for Quote. This is a written notice to inform the public of the Government's intent to award on a sole source basis the required services.
