Description
This is a sole source requirement for New Manufacture of Material of the KC-135 Sleeve and Slide. The contractor shall provide all labor, facilities, equipment and all material to accomplish new manufacture, test, packing, preservation and packaging of the KC-135 Sleeve and Slide. A firm fixed price type contract is contemplated. The approximate solicitation issue date will be 18 September 2015. The contract period will be one year. The items and quantities are as follows: Item 0001: New Manufacture of Material NSN 4810-00-613-3491HS, P/N 69-5698-1; Applicable to KC-135 aircraft; Basic Year Quantity, 268 each. Deliver 268 unit(s) on 08 August 2016. Early delivery is acceptable. QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS APPLY. For qualification information/source approval requests contact Source Development Office, OC-ALC/BC (405) 739-7243. Award will be based on meeting our requirements and cannot be delayed pending qualifications of additional sources. APPROVED SOURCES are: The Boeing Company (CAGE 81205). NOTE: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
