- Pursuant to 41 U.S.C. 2304, the U.S. Army, MEDCOM, Western Regional Contracting Office (WRCO), Lacey, WA, intends to issue a sole source award to 3M Company in the total amount of $877,830 to purchase Dictation and Transcription Software and Hardware Equipment, Licenses, Training, and Remote Maintenance. This acquisition requires DICAP Certification. This contract will be for a base plus four option years supporting Evans Army Community Hospital, Fort Carson, CO and the 10th MDG at the Air Force Academy. Research has shown that 3M Company is the only organization that has the DICAP certification and has the equipment and service required. Any firm that believes it can provide the stated supplies/equipment can provide supporting documents demonstrating their products capability; and specifications within two (2) calendar days from the date of publication of this notice. Responses received will be used for future acquisitions. Information can be sent to the Contract Specialist; Ms. Brenda Palmer, brenda.m.palmer.civ@mail.mil. No telephone or facsimile requests will be accepted. This procurement will be prepared in accordance with FAR Part 13, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures.
