- ***NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE*** The Department of State Office of Acquisitions Management, on behalf of the Bureau of Resource Management issues this special notice of its intent to negotiate a sole source purchase order to The Corporate Executive Board Company for an annual membership for various services (shown below). The membership will provide services to the Department to access important resources to identify and implement best practices in corporate and global financial management, important process improvements, setting strategic priorities, and effective financial performance improvement across the finance function. The Corporate Executive Board Company is the only known source providing the requested membership. Under the agreement the member has access rights to the following services during the membership term: •Access to the Executive Retreat Meeting for one individual from the Member Organization •Access to Government Finance Roundtable website, print publications and decision support tools •Access to Government Finance Roundtable teleconferences/webinars •An Assigned account team which proactively supports the Member Organization in achieving its strategic priorities by connecting the member executive with appropriate resources provided by The Corporate Executive Board Respond to this requirement by submitting written capabilities/specifications ( i.e. similar commercially-available membership packages which include the specific access specified in the bullet points above) to the Contract Specialist at the email address provided. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes; however, all responses received within 2 days from the date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government whether a competitive procurement is feasible may be based upon responses to this notice and is solely at the discretion of the Government. If no affirmative responses are received within 2 days of this notice to determine whether a qualified source is more advantageous to the Government, an order will be placed with The Corporate Executive Board Company. This purchase is to be processed using Simplified Acquisition Procedures in conjunction with FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items. There is no solicitation package available.
