Description

The Department of Education, Federal Student Aid intends to award a sole source contract under the authority of 41 U.S.C. 1901 and FAR 13.501(a)(1), to Decision Technology, Inc., 4390 US Highway 1 STE 230, Princeton, NJ 08540-5747 to provide Decision Analyzer software maintenance. Decision Technology, Inc. is the sole developer and supplier for Decision Analyzer software and is the only company that can provide the software maintenance needed. This action will result in a 1 year Firm-Fixed-Price contract with 2 option years. This Notice of Intent to award a sole source contract is not a request for competitive quotes. There is no solicitation document. No RFQ will be available for competitive proposals. Phone calls will not be accepted. The point of contact for this action is Ms. Alicia Butler, Contract Specialist, alicia.butler@ed.gov. Interested parties may express their interest and provide a capability statement to Ms. Alicia Butler via e-mail no later than September 23, 2015; 3:00PM EST. A determination not to compete this proposed contract action upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
