- The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) Midstates Procurement Branch intends to issue a Purchase Order on a sole source basis to Walz Label & Mailing System, located at 624 High Point Lane East Peoria, IL 61611-9329, for extended warranty for one folder/inserter machine and three versa feeders. The Extended warranty includes quarterly preventative maintenance calls, parts, labor, travel and service calls in-between preventative maintenance calls. The equipment is located at 1201 N. Mitsubishi Motorway Bloomington, IL 61705.Waltz Label & Mailing System has the Proprietary rights for the maintenance of this equipment. This notice is neither a request for proposal nor a solicitation of offers. Based on the requirements, the Government intends to solicit and award with one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed requirement on a full and open competitive basis is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government anticipates an award date on or about Sept 30, 2015. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 811212 and the size standard is $25.5. The contract is for a one year period starting October 1, 2015 - September 30, 2016. No formal solicitation package is available. Interested parties shall be registered in SAM Database.
