Description

***THIS RFP (VA118-15-R-0395) HAS BEEN CANCELLED FOR FY15 AND WILL BE RESOLICITED IN FY16. PLEASE LOOK FOR FUTURE NOTICES TO BE POSTED ON FBO FOR THIS REQUIREMENT. This synopsis is for the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Technology Acquisition Center Enterprise Multifunctional Devices Contract (TEMFDC). This procurement will provide standardized commercial MFD hardware solutions across the VA enterprise (including installation, configuration, training, and standard commercial warranty support). TEMFDC will provide customers throughout all of VA with an efficient means of replacing/refreshing MFD inventory via issuance of delivery orders under a multiple-award Indefinite-Delivery Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) contract vehicle. The TEMFDC is intended to satisfy VA's copying, printing, and scanning needs by offering 12 unique MFD configurations (for purchase or for lease) with included support for delivery, installation, configuration, training, and standard commercial warranties. Changes and/or updates to the products offered may be necessary to accommodate manufacturer-determined device end of life (EOL). To support this requirement, a firm-fixed price, multiple-award IDIQ contract will be put in place with a 2-year ordering period. This is a competitive acquisition and a 100% Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business set-aside. VA intends to make up to three awards and reserves the right to make additional awards if it is determined to be in the best interest of the Government. The NAICS code for this procurement is anticipated to be 334118. The solicitation number assigned to this effort is VA118-15-R-0395 (previously issued as a Request For Information under ID# VA118-15-N-0225 and cancelled solicitation #VA118-15-R-0257). The closing date for this solicitation is August 28, 2015 at 12:00PM EST.
