- This is a modification to the synopsis entitled Undergraduate Student Instrument Project {USIP) 2015 Solicitation Number: NNH15ZDA010C which was posted on August 24, 2015. You are notified that the following changes are made: The National Aeronautics and Space Administrations (NASA) Science Mission Directorate (SMD), in collaboration with the Office of Education (OE) National Space Grant College and Fellowship Program (Space Grant) released the Undergraduate Student Instrument Project (USIP) Student Flight Research Opportunity (SFRO) on August 21, 2015. USIP-2015 solicits proposals from U.S. institutions of higher education to develop an undergraduate-led Project Team that will fly a science and/or technology payload relevant to NASA strategic goals and objectives on a sounding rocket, balloon, aircraft, suborbital reusable launch vehicle (sRLV), or CubeSat launched on an orbital launch vehicle (hereafter referred to collectively as suborbital-class platforms). Changes: Undergraduate Student Instrument Project (USIP) 2015 Amendment 1: This amendment delays the due date for the mandatory Notices of Intent for proposals to this Cooperative Agreement Notice to October 15, 2015. This solicitation calls for proposals from U.S. institutions of higher education to develop an undergraduate-led Project Team that will fly a science and/or technology payload relevant to NASA strategic goals and objectives on a sounding rocket, balloon, aircraft, suborbital reusable launch vehicle (sRLV), or CubeSat launched on an orbital launch vehicle (hereafter referred to collectively as suborbital-class platforms). On or about September 22, 2015, this Amendment to the NASA Cooperative Agreement Notice (NNH15ZDA010C) will be posted on the NASA research opportunity homepage at http://nspires.nasaprs.com/.
