- Sources Sought: The Department of Veterans' Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 8, James A. Haley Veteran's Hospital located in Tampa, FL, is seeking information for market research to determine the availability of SERVICE DISABLED VETERAN OWNED SMALL BUSSINESSES (SDVOSB) and VETERAN OWNED SMALL BUSSINESSES (VOSB) qualified firms, capable and interested in providing Annual Preventive Maintenance and On Call Repair for Patient Lift systems. Contractor shall provide all supervision, personnel, equipment, transportation, materials, parts, and other items and services necessary to provide the following services for patient lift systems herein listed and manufactured by Arjo, Liko, Dignity Inc, Guldmann, and Tollos, (Formerly T.H.E. Medical) Patient lift systems are located at the James A. Haley Veterans' Hospital, 13000 Bruce B. Downs Blvd., Tampa Florida. Additional Patient Lift systems are located at clinics in Brooksville, Lakeland, New Port Richey, Zephyrhills, Florida, and the Primary Care Annex, Tampa FL, as well as other off site clinics. These and any other future additions will be incorporated by mutual agreement. The NAICS Code is 811219, (Other Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance) and the size standard is $20.5 million dollars. The Product Service Code (PSC) is J (Maintenance, Repair & Rebuilding Equipment). Responses to this announcement shall determine if sufficient competition exist in order to set this procurement aside for SDVOSB and/or VOSB business concerns. Responses to this notice shall be submitted in writing no later than 3:00 p.m. September 25, 2015 via email to Candace.Renn@va.gov. Interested parties MUST include the following: (a) company name (b) address (c) point of contact (d) phone, fax, and email (e) DUNS number (f) Cage Code (g) Tax ID Number (h) Type of small business, e.g. Services Disabled Veteran Owned small Business, Veteran-owned small business, 8(a), HUB Zone, Women Owned Small Business, Small disadvantaged business, or Small Business HUB Zone business and (i) GSA contract number if applicable (j) must provide a capability statement that addresses the organizations qualifications and ability to perform as a contractor for the work described. If a solicitation is issued, it will be announced on Federal Business opportunities website http://www.fbo.gov at a later date, and all interested parties must respond to that solicitation announcement separately from the responses to this announcement. Responses must be submitted via email to Candace.Renn@va.gov and received NLT 3:00 p.m. September 25th, 2015. No entitlement to payment of direct or indirect costs or charges by the Government will arise as a result of contractor submission of responses to this announcement or the Government use of such information.
