Please note this solicitation is not ready to be issued as of this date. The Embassy of the United States in ALBANIA will launch the solicitation on the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) website when it is available. The contractor shall reimburse covered medical expenses incurred for approximately 290 employees and their eligible family members, subject to the stated limits. Payment will be made for reasonable and customary costs covered benefits. The medical treatment must be prescribed or provided by a physician or nurse licensed in Albania, the United States, or in the country in which the treatment or prescription is received. These requirements may change depending on funding availability in forthcoming periods. Anticipated performance is for one base year period and four one-year periods at the option of the government. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered. The Government plans to issue the solicitation in October 2015. SAM registration is required pursuant to FAR provision 5.207, and prospective offerors are encouraged to register prior to the submittal of quotations/proposals. No electronic offers will be accepted. Please mail your offer to the contracting office listed in this notice prior to the response date and time.
