Description
Solicitation Document The Embassy of the United States of America in Moscow, Russian Federation issues a solicitation for insurance coverage and management of related services for all U.S. Government owned official vehicles located in the city of Moscow, Russian Federation. This is a contract for the services specified and effective for the period stated in the Schedule. The estimated number of vehicles is 115. Please note that this is only an estimate. The anticipated period of performance is for a base period of twelve (12) months and four (4), one-year periods solely at the option of the Government. The solicitation will be issued via FedBizOpps and on the Embassy's website at http://moscow.usembassy.gov/bids.html. The contractor shall furnish managerial, administrative and direct labor personnel to accomplish all required work. Per Russian law, a contractor must be a licensed company registered with the Russian Insurance Authority. The institution that issues licenses for the insurance business in Russia is the Central Bank of Russia. Interested companies may visit the Central Bank of Russia's Internet site at http://www.cbr.ru/eng/ to learn more about licensing procedures. The time for issuing licenses may vary from six (6) months to one (1) year. All responsible and eligible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered. This solicitation replaces solicitation SRS500-15-Q-0007, which was canceled on September 8, 2015. Again, this solicitation will be issued via FedBizOpps and on the Embassy's website at: http://moscow.usembassy.gov/bids.html. NO ELECTRONIC OFFERS WILL BE ACCEPTED.
