- SYNOPSIS FOR TRI-REGIONAL MODULAR RAMPS The Department of Veteran Affairs (VA), Veterans Health Administration (VHA), has a requirement for Modular Ramps. This requirement shall encompass three separate regions: Service Area Office (SAO) East, Service Area Office (SAO) Central and Service Area Office (SAO) West. The SAO East portion of the solicitation serves a eighteen-state/territory region that includes Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Maryland, Delaware, Washington D.C., Virginia, North Carolina, Florida, Georgia, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands. The SAO-Central Region portion of the solicitation serves a twenty-state region that includes Kentucky, Tennessee, West Virginia, Ohio, Wisconsin, Illinois, Kansas, Missouri, Florida, Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, Arkansas, Missouri, Oklahoma, Texas, Minnesota, Iowa, North Dakota, South Dakota and Nebraska. The SAO-East Region portion of the solicitation serves a seventeen- state/territory region that includes Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, Montana, Wyoming, Colorado, Utah, Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Alaska, California, Nevada, Hawaii, Philippines Islands, Guam and the American Samoa. Under this contract the contract awardee(s) shall provide the product and services in accordance with an "all inclusive" business concept as specified in this agreement in order to work effectively with VHA to meet the stated objectives. All ramp systems shall be of lightweight construction, durable, with a non-slip, skid-resistant surface, rust free, easily installed and removed, compact and recyclable. All ramp systems shall be installed in accordance with all applicable Federal, State, Local codes and VHA authorization. These supplies and services shall be provided when ordered by an authorized Contracting Officer or designated VHA personnel. A comprehensive list of actual requirements will be included in the Statement of Work within the solicitation package document. The period of performance for this requirement consists of a twelve (12) month base period and four (4) twelve (12) month option periods. The proposed contract(s)action are being procured as 100% Small Business Set-Aside, Multiple Awards are expected. The NAICS code for this procurement is 339113 Surgical Appliance and Supplies Manufacturing and the business size standard for this requirement is 500 employees. Any vendor desiring to be considered for award MUST be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) using this NAICS code or a NAICS code with an equivalent size standard. No award can be made unless the vendor is registered in SAM. For additional information and to register in SAM, please access the following web site: www.sam.gov. In order to register with the SAM and to be eligible to receive an award from this acquisition office, all offerors must also have a Dun & Bradstreet Number. This procurement also requires offerors to complete the electronic representations and certifications at the SAM website. Any resulting contract(s) will be awarded as a firm-fixed price Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity type contract. Solicitation documents will be made available for download on or about October 1, 2015 at http://www.fbo.gov/. Paper copies of this solicitation will not be issued. Interested parties should use the www.FedBizOpps.gov [Add to Watch list] and [Add Me to Interested Vendors] features which provide a notification when the Request for Proposal (RFP) becomes available for download as well as all postings of information associated with this solicitation thereafter. Each potential offeror is responsible for checking the FedBizOpps website to gain all current information related to the solicitation.
