- Pre-Solicitation Notice: Radiopharmaceuticals This is a pre-solicitation notice for a contract to acquire Radiopharmaceuticals for the Ralph H. Johnson VA Medical Center in Charleston, SC. This procurement is for commercial items and will be conducted in accordance with FAR Part 12 and FAR Subpart 13.5 utilizing Lowest Price Technically Acceptable evaluation procedures. The Network Contracting Office 7, Charleston, SC intends to solicit and negotiate a firm-fixed-price Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Requirements contract to provide Radiopharmaceuticals to support medical diagnostic and treatment efforts at the Ralph H. Johnson VA Medical Center (RHJVAMC) in Charleston, SC. A contract with one base year and four one-year options is anticipated. The applicable NAICS Code is 325412, Pharmaceutical Preparation Manufacturing, and the size standard is 750 employees. NOTE - A SOLICITATION IS NOT CURRENTLY AVAILABLE FOR THIS REQUIREMENT. The Request for Quotation (RFQ) will be available on or about October 8, 2015 and will be published on the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) website at www.fbo.gov. The offeror shall be responsible for downloading all solicitation documents/amendments without further notice from the Department of Veterans Affairs. This is a pre-solicitation notice synopsizing an upcoming RFQ solicitation to satisfy the requirements of FAR 5.201 and FAR 5.203. The Contract Specialist will not be able to answer any questions pertaining to this notice until an RFQ is issued. A Site Visit is not anticipated at this time. Questions resulting from the solicitation will only be answered if received by Request for Information (RFI) via email. It is the responsibility of the bidder to monitor and download amendments from FedBizOpps (FBO) which may be issued to this solicitation. All interested SDVOSBs must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) at https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/ and their Annual Representations and Certifications must be current and filed online and viewable through SAM.
