- This Request for Information (RFI)/Sources Sought (SS) Notice is for market research, information and planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a solicitation or as an obligation on the part of U.S. Army Medical Research Institute of Chemical Defense (USAMRICD) or the US Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity (USAMRAA). This request for information/sources sought is seeking business sources that can provide the Gemini test station and Floor Grid for on-going R & D research at USAMRICD. The following characteristics are required: 1.Shall be compatible with the current Gemini Test Station 2.Shall include 2 test stations with rat grid floors (28 stainless steel grids). Outside: 26 quote mark (W) x 13 quote mark (D) x 17 (H) Inside 9 quote mark (W) x 8 quote mark (D) x 8 quote mark (H) (each side), made of Acrylic and aluminum with stainless steel grids. 3.Test station shall have 16 infrared photobeams per enclosure with 1 quote mark spacing and include the following stimuli options: cue lights, house lights, sound, shock, and gate. 4.Shall include all required cables and connectors. 5.Shall include 18 grid floors for mice (62 stainless steel grids) 6.Mouse floors shall consist of 62 stainless steel rods, divided into two distinct sides, with each side measuring 9.5 quote mark Wide x 8 quote mark Deep. 7.Shall be Gemini brand in order to be compatible with current equipment. This announcement is not a formal solicitation and is not a request for proposal. No contract will be awarded from his announcement. No reimbursement will be made of any costs to provide information in response to this announcement or any follow up information requests. Availability of any formal solicitation will be announced under a separate announcement. This synopsis is for marker research, information and planning purposes only and is not to be construed as commitment by the Government. Each response must reference the sources sought title. All proprietary information should be marked as such. Responses will be held confidential if requested. Please submit technical product fact sheets with references for similar or like contracts performed. The references are to include contract number will post of contact.
