- Description
- NASA/GSFC has a requirement for the following items: GPS blended Inertial Measurement Unit to track radar antenna position. Capable of precise point positioning (PPP) with science grade satellite orbits post processing. Higher than 1Hz measurement rate. Capable of tracking GNSS (including but not limited to GPS) signals Supports ethernet, USB or Serial (RS-232,422,485) communication protocols. Velocity accuracy better than 0.05 m/s RMS Heading accuracy better than 0.5 deg. Operating temperature range: -40 60 deg C. Works with L-Band L1/L2 antenna. GPS/IMU blended system should be capable of providing position accuracy within 0.05m RMS with PPP post processing for 10 sec. of GNSS outage. Capable of velocity accuracy of 0.05 m/s RMS with PPP post processing for 10 sec. of GNSS outage. Capable of roll and pitch accuracy of 0.025 degrees RMS with PPP post processing for 10 sec. of GNSS outage. Capable of 1 degree RMS heading accuracy with PPP post processing for 10 sec. of GNSS outage. Gyroscope bias stability of 0.5 deg/hr Gyroscope angular random walk of 0.15 deg/sqrt(hr) Accelerometer bias stability of 0.05 mg Accelerometer random walk of 0.08 m/s/sqrt(hr) This notice is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, which is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ); quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Offerors are required to use the On-Line RFQ system to submit their quote. The On-line RFQ system is linked above or it may be accessed at http://prod.nais.nasa.g ov/cgi-bin/eps/bizops.cgi?gr=C&pin=. The information required by FAR Subpart 12.6 is included in the on-line RFQ. The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12 and the Simplified Acquisition Procedures set forth in FAR Part 13. Questions regarding this acquisition must be submitted in writing (e-mail is preferred) no later than October 03, 2015. It is the quoter's responsibility to monitor this site for the release of amendments (if any). Potential quoters will be responsible for downloading their own copy of this notice, the on-line RFQ and amendments (if any). NASA Clause 1852.215-84, Ombudsman, is applicable.
