- MACERATOR SERVICE AND MAINTENANCE JOFOC. The USDA, ARS, intends to award a sole source, Firm-Fixed Price Performance Based Service Contract under the Authority of 41 U.S.C. 253(c) (2) and FAR 13.106-1(b) (i), "Soliciting from a single source" based upon only one responsible source capable of meeting the Government's requirements with Red Bag Solutions, Inc. for a Firm, Fixed Price Performance Based Service Contract (Base-one (1) year plus four (4) one-year option periods. ) The Period of Performance will be: Base Period: October 1, 2015 through September 30, 2016; Option 1 Period: October 1, 2016 through September 30, 2017; Option 2 Period: October 1, 2017 through September 30, 2018; Option 3 Period: October 1, 2018 through September 30, 2019; Option 4 Period: October 1, 2019 through September 30, 2020). This contract is subject to the availability of FY-16 funding in accordance with FAR Clause 52.232-18. All Option years are subject to the FAR Clause 52.212-19. Availability of Funds for the Next Fiscal Year. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposal. However, all inquiries received within 5 days after date of publication of the Limited Sources Justification will be considered by the Government. Information may be emailed to the Contracting Officer at lisa.botella@ars.usda.gov. A determination by the Government not to compete based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Any resulting procurement would be conducting in accordance with FAR Part 13. An award notice for Red Bag Solutions, Inc. will be posted on the FBO in the near future. This procurement requires the use of biobased products to the extent that such products are reasonably available, meet agency or relevant industry performance standards, and are reasonably priced. Where available, these products should first be acquired from among qualified products that fall under the umbrella of items designated through the Federal Biobased Products Preferred Procurement Program (FB4P).
