- Synopsis Solicitation Justification of Sole Source Brand Name Justification Statement of Work This is a SPECIAL NOTICE FOR GSA SCHEDULE HOLDERS ONLY. OPEN MARKET OFFERS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED OR CONSIDERED. The GSA ebuy system would not allow a posting under the FABS Contract under 520 16 therefore in order to meet publicizing requirements under FAR PART 8 this synopsis is being posted on the GPE. This synopsis/solicitation is for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 8.405-2(c), as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation is attached. The solicitation number is AG-3A94-S-15-0114 and is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). We apologize for any inconvenience; we received this information from GSA, "the eBuy system is going through a transition period until September 30th and will have very limited capabilities. Alternatives to posting RFQ's in eBuy are delineated in FAR 8.405-2(c) Request for Quotation procedures. Alternatively, the USDA has been advised to utilize www.FBO.gov to advertise task order opportunities for the impacted Schedules." The USDA Food Safety and Inspection Service, George Washington Carver Building 5601 Sunnyside Avenue, Beltsville, MD, 20705 has a requirement for a Subscription Service for Business Information of the Industry in Support of Public Health Risk-Analysis-Based Inspection Systems.
