Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Technology Acquisition Center (TAC), located at 23 Christopher Way, Eatontown, NJ 07724 intends to enter into a contract on the basis of other than full and open competition to procure air conditioning preventative maintenance and emergency repair services for the Quantico and Culpeper Information Technology Centers. VA TAC intends to award a sole source, hybrid Firm-Fixed Price and Time and Materials contract with an 12-month period of performance with two 12-month option periods to Colonialwebb Contractors Company, 2820 Ackley Avenue, Richmond, Virginia 23228, pursuant to authority 41 U.S.C. 253(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1 entitled, 'Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements.' The proposed solicitation number for this effort is VA118-15-R-0767. The applicable North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this effort is 238220 with a corresponding small business size standard of $15M. The estimated date of award for this action is October 1, 2015.
