- Sources Sought Notice for Various Commercial Services to include but not limited to the following: Dockside Maintenance and Repair Services - the performance of full inspection, testing, repair, and maintenance services for Federal marine vessels located in but not limited Hawaii, Massachusetts, Mississippi, New Hampshire, Oregon, Rhode Island, South Carolina and Virginia. These maintenance and repair services could include, one or more of the following: preservation of ship structures, deck covering systems, welding processes, temporary hull access, electrical and HVAC systems, auxiliary machinery systems, shipboard ventilation systems, electrical rotating machines, generators and motors, propulsion systems, and tank and void inspection, testing, repair and maintenance to establish Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPAs). In support of NOAA Office of Marine and Aviation Operations (OMAO). The U.S. Department of Commerce/NOAA - Acquisition & Grants Office, Western Acquisition Division - Seattle, Washington is seeking small business concerns to provide various commercial supplies in the categories identified herein. The Government contemplates BPAs (Blanket Purchase Agreements) to provide supplies as required. It is anticipated that the Government will establish multiple Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPA). The potential Master Agreement term is for five years each BPA. Individual calls placed by BPA Call Officers will not exceed $30,000.00, whereas calls placed by contracting staff will not exceed $150,000.00 All small businesses are encouraged to respond. Upon review of Industry response to this Sources Sought Notice, the Government will determine whether a set-aside acquisition in lieu of full and open completion is in the Governments best interest. The appropriate NAICS Code is 336, size standard is 1000 employees. THIS SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. It is a market research tool being used to determine the availability and adequacy for potential sources prior to determining the acquisition strategy. The Government is not obligated to and will not pay for any information received from potential sources as a result of this announcement. BPAs may be executed 7 days a week 24 hours a day. Calls will be competed among available BPAs to the maximum extent practicable. The vendor who is able to meet the Government's minimum requirement at the lowest price will be awarded the call. It is requested that interested sources submit to the Contracting Office a brief capabilities statement demonstrating ability to provide requested supplies as identified in this survey. This documentation shall address, as a minimum, the following: (1) Company profile: Provide number of employees, office location(s), DUNS number, CAGE Code, GSA Contract numbers if applicable and statement regarding small business designation and status. Please identify a point of contact and an alternate. (2) Relevant Experience: Provide relevant experience performing efforts of similar scope and duration within the last 24 months, including contract number, contract value, Government/Agency point of contact and current telephone number. Also please provide a list of 3 business references including POC and email or phone contact information. (3) Typical Supplies required are included in the attachment to this synopsis. Request you mention the categories of interest to you and provide literature, e.g., line cards, etc., with examples of those supplies available from your firm. This package shall be sent by e-mail to the following address: renee.heerhartz@noaa.gov with the attachment in Portable Document Format (PDF) and clearly labeled with the firm's name and sources sought title: BPA for Dockside Maintenance and Repair Services.
