- Solicitation Documents: The solicitation will be issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP) requiring both price and technical proposal described in Section M. Documents will only be available electronically to download from this website on or about September 29, 2015. Description: The purpose of this project is to repair road infrastructure damaged during the Mad River Complex fire and fire suppression efforts of August 2015 and to improve drainage for potentially high runoff due to the fire damaged landscape. The primary work items include replacing undersized culverts, placing aggregate surface course and reconditioning the roads. Unless otherwise provided, the Contractor shall furnish all labor, transportation, equipment, tools, supervision, materials and any necessary incidentals to accomplish work on this project. Location: Mad River Ranger District,Six Rivers National Forest Price Range: $100,000.00 - $250,000.00 Contract Time: 35 Calendar Days Estimated Start Date: 1 Nov 2015 Set-Aside: This project is 100% HUBZone set aside Bonds: (if applicable) A Bid guarantee is required with the offer. Performance and Payment Bonds in the amount of 100% of the contract price will be required of the successful contractor within 10 days of award. Response Location: Offers will be accepted at the Northern California Acquisition Service Area, Redding Office, located within the Shasta-Trinity National Forest Headquarters at 3644 Avtech Parkway, Redding, CA 96002 NO LATER than time and date indicated on solicitation. SAM REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS: Prospective contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) prior to award. SAM is a consolidation of the former Central Contractor Registration (CCR) and On-line Representation and Certification Application (ORCA) databases.
