- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation Number W81XWH-15-T-0193 will be issued on 29 September 2015 and proposals will be due on 08 October 2015 @ 4:00 PM Eastern Time. The Government's requirement is to acquire VICON Motion Capture Systems, Brand Name or Equal) hardware and software for the U.S. Army Aeromedical Research Laboratory (USAARL), Fort Rucker, AL. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 541511 with a size standard of 27,500,000. No hard copies of the solicitation will be issued by this contracting office. All interested parties can view, download and print a copy of the solicitation and any resulting amendments on 29 September 2015 at the following website: https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi/. In accordance with DFARS 252.204-7004, all contractors wishing to do business with the Department of Defense must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/. Proposals will be evaluated on a Commercial Firm Fixed Price and any resulting contract will be issued as a Firm Fixed Price Small Business Set-Aside Award. POC for this action is Sheila R.
