- Modeling and Simulation RFI 29 September 2015: 1. The purpose of this notice is to provide industry with a Modeling and Simulation Request for Information (RFI). 2. The Government will not provide reimbursement of any costs associated with documentation or communication submitted in response to this RFI. Any submitted documentation, upon delivery, becomes the property of the U.S. Government and will not be returned. The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this notice. 3 September 2015: 1. The purpose of the attached APT Industry Question and Answer Matrix is to provide industry with Government answers/responses to questions submitted by industry as a result of the APT Program's open communication policy posted to FedBizOpps.Gov on 2 June 2015. 2. All Government responses in the attached APT Industry Question and Answer Matrix supersede any previous Government responses provided to industry (written or verbal). 1 September 2015: 1. The purpose of this notice is to provide industry with a Ground Based Training System Facilities Request for Information (RFI). 2. The Government will not provide reimbursement of any costs associated with documentation or communication submitted in response to this RFI. Any submitted documentation, upon delivery, becomes the property of the U.S. Government and will not be returned. The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this notice. 31 August 2015: 1. The purpose of this notice is to solicit industry's comments regarding the DRAFT System Specification (SS) for the Advanced Pilot Training (APT) Program Aircraft System and Ground Based Training System. 2. The Government will not provide reimbursement of any costs associated with documentation or communication submitted in response to this RFI. Any submitted documentation, upon delivery, becomes the property of the U.S. Government and will not be returned. The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this notice. 27 August 2015: 1. The purpose of this notice is to provide an agenda with specific meeting times for the Industry Market Research Immersion event to be held on Friday, 4 September at Joint Base San Antonio (JBSA) Randolph in San Antonio, TX. 2. Please refer to the 13 August 2015 notice for any additional information. 3. The Government will not provide reimbursement of any costs associated with documentation or communication submitted in response to this RFI. Any submitted documentation, upon delivery, becomes the property of the U.S. Government and will not be returned. The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this notice. 19 August 2015: 1. The purpose of this notice is to provide an update to the post on 13 Aug 2015 regarding the Industry Market Research Immersion event. Industry attendance was previously limited to four (4) attendees per vendor. That is being revised to allow industry up to eight (8) attendees per vendor for this event. 2. All other information provided in the Industry Market Research Immersion post remains valid and unchanged. 14 August 2015: 1. The purpose of this notice is to release a follow up Sources Sought Synopsis (SSS). The SSS serves as a follow up to the original SSS released to FedBizzOpps.gov on 31 March 2009. 2. The Government will not provide reimbursement of any costs associated with documentation or communication submitted in response to this RFI. Any submitted documentation, upon delivery, becomes the property of the U.S. Government and will not be returned. The purpose of this notice is to provide responses to questions from industry (both written and verbal) as a result of the APT Pre-Solicitation Conference held 5-7 May 2015. These responses have been captured in the attached document titled, "APT Pre-Solicitation Conference Q&A Matrix." Also attached is a brief summary of the conference, in addition to the CPI Decision Aid document in support of the Q&A matrix. 2. The purpose of this notice is to provide clarification regarding the sustained G KPP. On 4 June 2015 the Air Force released a Design Maturity RFI which intentionally omitted sustained G. The Air Force is currently considering feedback provided by industry during the Pre-Solicitation Conference regarding the Sustained G requirement and will post any updates as soon as possible. 2. Anything not submitted in the attached spreadsheet will be discarded. The first briefing was a program overview presented by Col Pete Eide, and the second was a Cost Capability Analysis overview presented by Lt Col Tim Spaulding. --End Update 15May2015-- 4 May 2015: The purpose of this notice is to provide updated information for the arrival of foreign nationals at the APT FoS Pre-Solicitation Conference, 5-7 May 2015. Originally, FBO instructions were to enter Gate 19B at 8:00am on 5 May 2015. Newly enforced policy has changed handling of foreign nationals as they enter WPAFB. Please enter Gate 1B on Springfield Street at 8:00am on 5 May 2015. There is a small parking lot to the immediate right, next to the security guard building. Park in that lot and a US Government escort will provide transportation in a separate vehicle to building 840 where the conference is to be held. Vendors will be returned back to respective vehicles left in the security parking lot and escorted off base once the applicable session is completed. --End Update 04May2015-- 1 May 2015: The purpose of this notice is to provide an update to the Advanced Pilot Training (APT) Family of Systems (FoS) Pre-Solicitation Conference Agenda. Notify industry of the APT FoS Program Office's intent to sponsor a Pre-Solicitation Conference at Wright-Patterson AFB tentatively scheduled for mid-April 2015. The intent of this notice is not an opportunity for industry to request changes to the ATP FoS requirements, but rather to ensure industry has a clear understanding of the requirements. In place of the "What's New document" the AFLCMC/WLZG will chronologically synopsize updates directly to this FBO page to keep industry abreast of what's happening on the APT FoS acquisition. This synopsis will provide a running log of what is placed on FBO concerning the APT FoS acquisition. AFLCMC/WLZG has established a dedicated team to work T-X.
