Description
Responses to questions from potential quoters Amendment Four SF 30 This solicitation is for mailroom operation services for Military Sealift Command (MSC) in the MSC Washington, D.C. office. The following tasks are illustrative of the services to be performed under the prospective firm fixed-price contract: A. The Mailroom shall be staffed and open for business from 7:30 AM until 4:30 PM. B. The Contractor shall receive incoming mail three times daily at approximately 9:30AM, 11:30AM, and 2:00PM. This will average about 1,000 to 2,000 pieces of mail per day. C. The Contractor shall sort, deliver, and pick up incoming mail, inter- and intra-command mail, and external mail, to include FedEx, UPS and similar delivery services as well as classified mail, to MSCHQ directorates and codes once daily to 25+ mail stops. D. The Contractor shall pick up outgoing mail at the time deliveries are made. E. The Contractor shall open invoices, date stamp and deliver them to Military Sealift Command Funds Certification Division (N8). F. The Contractor shall pickup outgoing invoices and delivers them to designated codes or to Military Sealift Command Accounting and Records Branch (N8). G. The Contractor shall provide and maintain one vehicle to make deliveries/pickups twice daily to offices within the Metropolitan Washington Area (estimated offsite deliveries/pickups total approximately 250 miles per week). H. The Contractor must be able to obtain a Facility Security Clearance (FCL) at the SECRET level. All personnel will be required to obtain a SECRET security clearance (including the driver). I. Key Personnel must be employed full-time at work site. The period of performance is anticipated to commence on/about 19 Ocotber 2015 for a six-mnonth base period with three six-month option periods. This is a follow-on requirement to contract N00033-11-P-9046 held by J. Aguinaldo Group, Inc. For this requirement, a market survey to determine small business capability was posted on FedBizOpps on 21 April 2015, reference number N1023-15-0007. Based upon evalaution of the responses to the market survey, MSC intends to set-aside this procurement 100% to small businesses.
