- Description
- Synopsis: This project is for the Remedial Investigation/Feasibility Study for SS109, Limited Field Investigation for DA115, and CG704 at JBER, AK. The goal of this project is to conduct a remedial investigation and feasibility study, characterize environmental conditions, and estimate the risk to human health and the environment quantitatively. The contractor will implement the F-22 Weapons Release Shop Remedial Investigation/Feasibility Study Work Plan dated March 2015 for site SS109. As well as be responsible for creating a Preliminary Assessment of sites DA115/CG740 delivering a report determining whether the site may pose a threat to human health and the environment. Additionally the government will include an option to collect environment and waste samples to determine if hazardous substances are present at the site. Some examples of the field work required to complete the investigation include collecting surface soil samples, subsurface soil samples, gas probes, and collecting ground water samples through the drilling of wells. The contractor is also required to analyze the samples through a laboratory accredited with the National Environmental Laboratory Accreditation Program and the Alaska Department of Environmental Conservation Accreditation Program.
