- Description
- This is the PWS for the solicitation. This is the solicitation. Please read it in its entirety and fill out any information requested/required as part of your response. This is the Q&A form that all questions pertaining to this solicitation should be submitted on. The contractor shall provide Yonder Premium Equal services or a service of equal quality/performance capability, which will be used to ensure C-130 Hatch Mount System VMT-1220HM Ku-band Spread Spectrum (KuSS) equipped C-130 aircraft and other platforms can connect to Yonder Premium Service (or a service of equal quality/performance capability) and have the capability to connect to commercial internet, military classified, and military unclassified networks to perform mission information exchanges. The service provided by the contractor must be compatible with the VMT-1220HM KuSS terminal. This is the terminal model that is currently being used. If the service being offered is not compatible, the contractor must provide an itemized list of equipment with the specifications for each piece for consideration. The contractor shall furnish everything needed to provide bandwidth, connections, and transport routing during the period of performance. The contractor shall provide KuSS Yonder Premium "Office in the Sky" equal service (or comparable service as stated above) connections and network services based on existing and planned global coverage areas. This includes providing specific connection settings and distribution architecture so that platforms can ultimately connect to the commercial internet. The contractor shall provide a minimum of one KuSS connection and associated network services at maximum architecture bandwidth. The specifications of the service provided must include: - Forward link of 2mbps - Return link of 512kpbs - Minimum rate availability of 80%. - Support applications to include Web, VPN, Email with attachments, VoIP and video calls (i.e. Skype and Google Chat), and VTC. - Minimum of 15GB monthly usage The contractor will provide 24/7 technical and engineering support for all KuSS connections, network transport, and distribution architecture up until the information exchanges connecting to the United States Army Special Operations Command controlled commercial internet services, or NIPRNet and SIPRNet gateways. The contractor shall provide immediate notification to the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) of any degraded network conditions or outages, and report expected time until return of full service.
