No contract or purchase order will be awarded from this notice. The Military Sealift Command has a requirement for the operation and maintenance of the Sea-Based X-Band Radar (SBX-1). This effort will provide qualified ship officers and crews, operational and technical support (ashore and afloat), equipment, tools, provisions, and supplies to operate, maintain, and repair the SBX. The requirement includes a 365-day Base Period and four (4) one-year option periods to commence on 01 October 2016. The operating limits shall be the Pacific Ocean operating area. This requirement will be solicited on an unrestricted basis. The estimated issue date for this solicitation is on or about 19 January 2016 with an estimated closing date of 19 February 2016. Upon issuance, the solicitation and supporting documentation will be posted and can be found on FEDBIZOPS ( https://www.fbo.gov/ ) under solicitation number N32205-16-R-3101. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the agency. All respondents must provide a Dun & Bradstreet number (DUNS) and Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) Code. The appropriate NAICS Code is 483111. There are no responses due based on this pre-solicitation notice and the Government is not obligated to and will not pay for any information received for this notice. See attached Draft Performance Work Statement (PWS) for further detail. MSC encourages industry comment and suggestions regarding the PWS that could result more efficient performance or cost savings to the Government.
