sole source doc The DEA has a requirement for maintenance to existing LabX software. Mettler Toledo is the only authorized vendor to provide maintenance to existing DEA LabX software. Mettler Toledo has not authorized any other companies to be resellers of this maintenance service. In accordance with FAR 5.207(c)(16)(ii), vendors that feel they can meet the Government's requirements detailed above and are authorized resellers to provide the required software maintenance may submit a capability statement which shall be considered by the agency. The Government anticipates the award of a firm-fixed price purchase order. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. In accordance with FAR 6.302-1(c) the justification is attached with this notice. The acquisition will be conducted through the FAR Part 13 "Simplified Acquisition Procedures." This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotation. A Request for Quotation (RFQ) is not available. All submissions should be submitted electronically to Ryan.F.Burke@usdoj.gov.
