- Description
- The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) charters, regulates, and supervises all United States national banks and federal savings associations (thrifts). OCC also supervises the federal branches and agencies of foreign banks. Headquartered in Washington, DC, the OCC has four district offices plus an office in London to supervise the international activities of national banks. Bank supervision is the core activity of the agency. In support of its mission to ensure a safe, sound, and competitive banking system, the OCC employs a range of sophisticated applications, business systems, and databases. Deployed assets range from point-solution applications to enterprise services, including web content management, document management, records management, knowledge management, identity management, notification services, data management and analytics, and enterprise-wide security operations. To enable its business units to easily and independently access and use these information assets, the OCC provides a secure, high-availability data delivery platform that offers the technical infrastructure and services required to process, share, and secure the large volume of highly-sensitive data used by the OCC workforce. Information Technology Infrastructure Support Services (ITISS) provides contracted IT support services with a customer-focused service delivery model based upon ITSM principles. A range of engineering, operations, and technical support services are provided via an efficient, performance-based contract that leverages an optimized Contractor skill mix for core services, augmented by a proven, agile, just-in-time approach to the provision of surge support and subject matter expert (SME) capabilities. The effort necessitates a high-performing, collaborative partnership between the Contractor and Government personnel. To assist the OCC in identifying potential sources that possess the specific expertise, capabilities and experience please carefully read and respond to the attached document titled, IT Infrastructure Capabilities Questionnaire. All companies must provide responses to the six (6) questions identified in the IT Infrastructure Capabilities Questionnaire. In addition, the OCC is seeking feedback regarding the draft ITISS Performance Work Statement (attached). Respondents may provide input to the PWS to include what should be added, deleted, or changed. If companies pursue this option in addition to responding to the IT Infrastructure Capabilities Questionnaire, the response should be no more than 20 pages total, 12 point font, double spaced. The OCC is interested in identifying vendors who are capable of offering the services outlined in the draft Performance Work Statement (PWS) for ITISS. THE GOVERNMENT IS SEEKING RESPONSES FROM SMALL BUSINESSES. Furthermore, the responses obtained will enable the OCC to refine the strategy for the development of this requirement in order to structure a program that will mitigate cost, schedule, and performance risks. The projected NAICS for this procurement is 541513 Computer Facilities Management Services. The Government reserves the right to reject in whole or in part, any industry input, as a result of this Notice.
