Description

Sources Sought Synopsis The scope of this procurement includes the shop drawings design, manufacturing, and testing to provide equipment which replaces existing 12.47kV-480V electrical substations and 480V motor control centers that service the Klystron Gallery and Accelerator Housing. There are four (4) substations which include three (3) 2000kva and one (1) 500kva transformers sized substations. Each substation consists of two (2) primary circuit breakers, a transformer with snubber, and secondary distribution switchgear. The 2000kva transformers are harmonic canceling type. An alternative scope of furnishing 2500kva transformers will be required. The scope of work also includes furnishing 480V motor control cienters. The substations are fed via a 12.47kV manhole system and will be reconnected to the dual feeders form the Master Substation. The Substations are located in Sectors 0-10 of the Klystron Gallery, B002 at SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory. The subject equipment is required for onsite delivery by November 28, 2016, or sooner.
