Description

This is a presolicitation notice synopsizing the upcoming release of a solicitation-NO RESPONSE TO THIS SYNOPSIS IS REQUIRED. Veterans Health Affairs, Network Contracting Office 4 will be posting a solicitation on this website for the provision of Contracted Emergency Residential Services (CERS) for homeless Veterans in the Altoona, PA area. This acquisition will be procured using FAR Part 13 procedures via full & open competition. The applicable NAICS code is 624221, Temporary Shelters. General scope of the procurement: the services will be provided for authorized Veterans within the catchment area of the James E. Van Zandt VA Medical Center in Altoona, PA. The CERS facility will be required to provide services such as room & board, meals, therapeutic counseling, case management, transportation, medication storage, etc. The Government intends to award a 5-year BPA to procure these services. General requirements: the CERS facility must be located within 40 miles of the James E. Van Zandt VA Medical Center and it must be licensed to operate its business. The facility must also be capable of passing an initial inspection conducted by personnel from the James E. Van Zandt VA Medical Center.
