- Description
- The F-35 "Lighting II" Joint Program Office intends to issue an order under Basic Agreement N0019-14-G-0020 on a sole source basis to Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Company, Fort Worth, TX for an analysis of alternatives; review and support of concept and requirements development; and demonstration support and phased implementation plans for improvements to the Offboard Mission Support (OMS) user experience for the F-35 Air System at various CONUS locations. The proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with Lockheed Martin Aeronautics under authority of FAR 6.302-1, and in accordance with Class Justification and Approval dated 14 October 2014. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, an interested party may submit a capability statement for the purpose of determining whether to initiate a competitive procurement. This notice of intent is neither a request for proposal nor a solicitation of offers. A determination by the Government not to compete these proposed contract actions based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The anticipated award date of the initial contract action is 5 November 2015.
