Description
This is for Market Research Purposes only. All interested and qualified vendor responses are to be BY EMAIL ONLY with the subject line: W911SDCellularTower. Based on responses received, further research may be required. The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and non-personal services necessary to perform/provide the requirements for construction of a cellular tower. The contractor will construct the tower under a land lease agreement between the United States Army Garrison - West Point's Directorate of Public Works Real Property Office with additional coordination from the United States Army Corps of Engineers Office. The contractor shall have a proven track record of the installation, configuration, implementation and maintenance of cellular towers. A proven track record is defined as having successfully completed at least two installations of a similar size and scope to this effort. The contractor shall provide all necessary, materials, utilities, technical data, and services associated with the development, design, testing, documentation, deployment, and quality assurance in support of the this project except where specifically identified. The contractor will facilitate the coordination and the integration of cellular service provider(s) equipment with the cellular service providers. The contractor shall act as the liaison between the government and the cellular service providers. All communications relating to source equipment and services for cellular service will be carried out by the contractor. The contractor will provide regular schedule maintenance of the tower once its construction is completed.The contractor will provide a road to the tower for its accessibility. The road will be operated and maintained by the contactor. Sufficient lighting is required for accessibility to the cellular tower sight. Cellular coverage extending north and south along the Route 293 corridor will provide a third means of communications for personnel in that area as well as non-West Point affiliated individuals travelling along Route 293, Route 6, the NYS Thruway and surrounding communities.
